Professional Stages – main activities, successes or projects

• Christian Zesiger started his work at CIBA-GEIGY shortly after graduation in 1983, where he was responsible for investment processes in the Agrochemistry Division.
• By joining the Steinbeck Group in Zurich he entered logistics industry in 1987, responsible for the Managerial Policy Procedures division.
• 1988 change to practice as Head Controlling at Goth Logistics Services, a subsidiary of the Steinbeck Group; from 1989 as CFO and member of the Executive Board. Additional functions followed in the next years (Sales & Marketing, Human Resources, EDP, Special Projects).
• 1993 Appointment as Head of all Administrative Services of the entire transport and logistics division of the Steinbeck Group.
• After Fiege took over the company in 1997, he was appointed CFO of F-LOG AG with the planned, but finally cancelled IPO in 2000.
• 2003 Appointment as CFO of all international companies of the Fiege Group, accompanied by board mandates in Italy and Switzerland.
• In order to manage the global growth of the Fiege Group, Christian Zesiger was appointed Director Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Structure in 2005.
• 2007 he was appointed CEO of CLOSe Logistics Ltd. (4PL with Vorwerk), and in 2010 further responsibility for the entire purchasing of the Fiege Group.
• 2013 Président Directeur Général of Fiege France.
• Christian Zesiger has carried out restructuring projects for the Fiege Group in Poland, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Germany and Switzerland.
• Since January 2014, Christian Zesiger has been Managing Partner and co-owner of Experts for Experts (Switzerland) Ltd. in order to bring his acquired management expertise of over 27 years into the logistics industry.
